Boy Scout Troop 111, Fremont CA

Last Sunday, May 18, we went on a hike from Waddell Beach to Berry Creek Falls, 5.8 miles either way. The hike went well, and most of the trek was made in the shade. The terrain was not steep and was a easy trail, but a little long for the younger scouts. Luckily, no one fell off the mountain, and we made it there, where we ate lunch. One of the younger scouts was a bit tired on the return, however. All in all, a good hike, and a good outing!

The weekend of May 10th & 11th - Mother's Day weekend - the troop will be having a combination of a Family Camp and a Court of Honor.

The Camp will be at Rancho Los Mochos, located in the hills above Livermore. It is a BSA Camp.

If you are not yet familiar with Los Mochos, here are Directions and a Camp Map.

Plan to be there at 2:00pm - calculate about 1 hour drive from Fremont.
For those who would like to follow us up, We plan to leave around 12:30. We could meet at Gomes and caravan.

Boy Scout Troop 111 is part of Mission Peak District of the San Francisco Bay Area Council.
Our charter organization is the International Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF).

Troop111 has troop meetings on Monday evenings at Gomes Elementary school.
The troop meeting runs from 7:30p to 9:00p.
When Gomes is closed, there normally is no meeting.
